Barusan gugling nemu tips menarik nih, gimana caranya menghapus/membuang driver n perangkat (driver) yang tidak terpakai di Windows XP. Lumayan lah buat tweaking pc secara manual coz blom nemu sofwer tweaking yang bisa otomatis remove unused driver/hardware/device hehehe..
Cocok nih buat para operator warnet yang komputernya sering dimasukin plesdisk macem-macem, sehingga lama kelamaan bisa memperberat kinerja komputer operator :D
Gini nih caranya..
Klik kanan My Computer lalu pilih Properties
Klik Advanced lalu Environment Variables
Di kotak bawah (di bagian System variables) klik New
Lalu isikan
- Variable name : devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices
- Variable value : 1
Klik OK sampai System Properties tertutup semua
Sekarang waktunya membuka Device Manager
Klik kanan lagi My Computer pilih Manage
Klik Device Manager
Klik View lalu Show hidden devices
Nah.. Driver yang tidak terpakai atau perangkat yang pernah dipasang tapi udah ga jelas dimana barangnya (udah dijual kali :D) akan tampak buram ato berwarna abu-abu.
Klik kanan lalu Uninstall satu persatu untuk menghapusnya.
